Stephen King’s The Mist
The mist is adapted from the master of horror, Stephen King. The story itself published in 1985 as part of Stephen King’s short story collection “Skeleton Crew”. The Mist is directed by Three-time Oscar®-nominee Frank Darabont (”The Green Mile,” “The Shawshank Redemption”). The story takes place at small town where a thick mist engulfs the area, killing those caught in its darkness. Apparently there is a creature prowling in a thick and unnatural mist. Local rumors point to an experiment called the ‘The Arrowhead Project’ conducted at a nearby top-secret military base, but questions as to the origins of the deadly vapor are secondary to the group’s overall chances for survival. David Drayton an artist and some of the survivors retreating to a local supermarket and try to survive and stand against an enemy they cannot even see!
